The Reception and Pre-School children from Firwood Manor Prep School had a great itme when they went on a trip to Cockfields Farm in Ashton on Tuesday. They had the chance to meet some of the more exotic animals such as snakes, lizards, giant snails and millepedes. After they had met these and given the tortoise a bath, it was off to help the farmer feed the farm animals. It was lovely to hear the screams of delight as the animlas ate the food from their hands. We finished the day with lots of fun on the bouncng pillow. Thank you to Cockfields Farm for a fantastic experience for the Firwood Manor children!
