On Wednesday we had the pleasure of welcoming Natasha Brown, the author and cake baker from Browns Cakes in Rochdale into Firwood Manor.  She came to talk to the children about how she wrote her book, Sweet Georgia Brown and demonstrate how she made the sugar paste illustrations.  The children were captivated and asked some thought provoking and simulating questions about her life and how the book came into being.   She inspired the children not only to read but to work hard to achieve theri dreams.  We all thoroughly enjoyed the experience and cannot wait for the next instalment of Sweet Georgia Brown.
